The PACA Region has published a call for expression of interest (AMI in French) in order to meet one of the Regional Innovation Strategy’s directions : To identify and support growth of high potential and rapid growth innovative companies during their development phases especially research and innovation.
In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, PACA Innovation, the network of innovative business counselors dedicated to companies assistance, structures almost every assistance solutions and gathers more than seventy regional organizations which are involved in the whole innovation chain (incubators, accelerators, clusters and PRIDES our Regional Innovation Clusters) and that will benefit from this AMI.
Growth Paths : Who are they for ?
Growth paths are aimed to high growth potential business.
Those companies are a strategic target. Several studies show that they are behind a majority of job creations. In France, 7% of rapid growth companies create 58% of jobs ( source : Banque de France survey, 2012).
The “Growth Path” call for expression of interest aims to:
Detect high growth potential SMEs
thanks to the PACA Innovation network supporting structures
Establish and enhance original growth paths
devoted to high growth potential SMEs identified by PACA Innovation to help them reach a development stage and start a growth process.
In practical terms, these companies will benefit from a specific assistance, an authentic development plan to boost their growth.
