Renowned for the sunlight, the summery climate and the quality of life, some parts of the PACA Region such as Provence, the French Alps and the French Riviera enhance its visibility abroad and dazzle the tourist.

A source of inspiration for the greatest painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne, Matisse, Dufy or Picasso, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur is a land of creativity not only for artists but also for scientific and technological talent.

The most sough after location for business

Numerous innovative companies have decided to set themselves up in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. For instance, in Sophia Antipolis (Nice), Toyota has opened one of its four international design centers : The Europe Design Development or ED2 where Yaris and Corolla models have been designed.

Siemens international training center is established in Aix-en-Provence . The enhanced visibility abroad and the obvious region’s tourism attractiveness are major assets to attract large private groups in various sectors such as technology or luxury goods industry for instance. The perfume industry, well established on the French Riviera, has already taken up this challenge with great success for more than a century.

The main traditional sectors, the economic strength taking part in the regional attractiveness are: the aeronautics, the agribusiness, the cosmetic and perfume industries, the water industry, the energy sector, logistics and sea freight, yachting, digital and new technologies, optics and photonics, biotechnologies, health, petrochemistry, tourism and culture.

Relaxing locations to attract the best talent

Just imagine your day : scuba-diving in the Mediterranean sea in the morning and snowboard riding in the afternoon. Which area can offer this dream experience? In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the mildness of the climate and its varied landscapes ( sea, countryside, mountains) provide a wide range of sports and activities.

Throughout the year, we cultivate a renowned life style in our region : water fountains under the shades of the plane trees,  the lavender scent during summer, drinking rosé wine under a scuppernong arbor or discovering local scents on lively marketplaces…

In addition to the pleasures of nature, there are architectural ones, highlighted by men for centuries and so typical of the Mediterranean.

Apart from the very famous Carnival in Nice, the region abounds with international festivals: the Lyrical Art Festival of Aix-en-Provence, the International Festival of Photography in Arles, the Cannes Film Festival, the Festival d’Avignon (theater, dance and music), the Jazz Festival in Antibes and so on. Quite a few opportunities for companies to set up business and expand collaboration with talented partners.
